GORDON BECK PHOTOGRAPHY
by Claudia Smith, OBP Secretary
Part 3, continued from last week …
Gordon worked for the Montreal Gazette for 25 years chronicling Montreal’s history from Expo 67 to John Lennon and Yoko Ono’s Bed-In for Peace to the 1976 Olympics. When he and his wife, Ewa Bujnicka, moved to Brockville they opened a gallery and antique bookstore called From Here to Infinity. Many of his photographs were on display and photography- and barn-enthusiasts alike visited with appreciation for his conversation and his photographic eye.

With easy access to rural country roads and old barns, he found great satisfaction “preserving the past for the future” with his barn photographs until he died in 2019.
